About Us
ChildLightUSA exists to recover and promote the educational philosophy and practice of Charlotte Mason (1842-1923). It is organizationally related to ChildLight in the UK.
Our work and goals are summarized in this document:
Mission Statement
ChildLightUSA's aim, therefore, is to:
1. Offer support to all who have already benefited in a variety of ways from Charlotte Mason’s work and writing.
2. To recover the organizational structure which made the CM philosophy so effective worldwide.
By deliberate intention and not merely through its organizational links to ChildLight in the UK, ChildLightUSA’s scope is international. It aims to extend the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy to all children everywhere, just as Charlotte Mason intended.
